Crocodile King

Bode's painting shows in a snowy city two people who seem to aim or shoot at each other, from both directions a swirling cloud of colors and shapes seems to form, from which a motif of the thinker with skull created by Carravaggio emerges.

Above the scenery hovers in the center a crocodile skull that seems to snap at the symbolic elements.
